The purpose of Plenty Gorge MTB Club is to:
- Promote sustainable mountain-biking in Plenty Gorge Park
- Advocate for mountain-biking interests in the Park
- Work together with Parks Victoria: assess and maintain a sustainable trail network to cater for all levels of riders
- Build a social network of MTB riders
- Arrange social rides for groups to enjoy the trails in the Park
